They are dedicated to the handicraft manufacture of wooden articles inspired by the decorative motifs of traditional Bosnian wood carvings
Civilization is a team from Mostar that has been engaged in handcrafting wooden items for many years. It consists of Adna Hasanagić and Harun Hasanagić. Neither of them trained professionally in handicraft / woodcarving, but the synthesis of their ideas and handicrafts resulted in a beautiful story.
They believe that the production of handmade products is a noble profession whose only goal is not the object itself, but also their sentimental value. They find inspiration for decorations in ethnic motifs and motifs of traditional Bosnian woodcarving. When they say ethnic motifs, they do not mean exclusively Bosnian motifs, although they are, of course, the most frequently represented. Also, what makes their products characteristic is the geometry they often use as a motif on objects.
However, their inspiration cannot be narrowed down to these two factors only, so they like to say that anything beautiful can serve as their inspiration.
Every day they are amazed by nature, everything in it, and everything they like, they like to present in the product they make.
They have a small workshop where they produce decorative and useful items. Each of items is unique and authentic and requires a lot of precision in the work. They currently only show their products on social networks.
