Develops handmade cosmetic products, sweets and other articles based on natural products
Maria Carolina Tavares has been a craftswoman for more than 12 years in the SULADA cooperative based in the town of Gouveia. She produces handmade cosmetics – corn-based deodorant, bath salts and aloe vera soap – and various products such as Panos di Tera and plant seed oils.
She also works with sisal and produces various sweets and rag dolls.
Her atelier is located in the Cultural Centre of Cidade Velha and she has participated in several national and international fairs.
