Preserves the art of Cape Verdean know-how in the transformation of agricultural products into delicious drinks
Andreza Morreira, affectionately known as Dedexa, preserves the art of Cape Verdean know-how in transforming agricultural products into delicious drinks, better known as punch. She started dedicating herself to the production of punch 5 years ago, having had the idea from a nephew with the intention of creating a small business. Initially, the production was only for family events and some parties, but as time went by, she gained confidence and started producing for sale, diversifying the flavours of the punch produced, and today she has a micro-enterprise.
Andreza has focused predominantly on typical Cape Verdean flavours such as honey, tambarina, calabaceira, coconut, azedinha, mendoim (mancara) and banana, in addition to the strawberry, chocolate and coffee flavours, already identified with the Banana Street brand.
