Presentation of the first leaflet dedicated to the city of Évora

ARTS AND CRAFTS IN WORLD HERITAGE CITIES is a project of the Organisation of World Heritage Cities that aims to promote local crafts and traditional crafts through the creation of a “Quality Label” that brings together, under a common denominator, all the arts and crafts of these cities. The aim is to help preserve the knowledge and know-how of craftsmen, while also taking into account the different crafts and professions which work in the restoration of monuments and World Heritage sites.

Following the meeting of the last regional conference, which took place during the World Congress in Quebec (Canada), last September 2022, the production of a leaflet was approved for the dissemination of the artisans participating in the project. The city of Évora took the initiative to promote the first edition of the brochure, which will then be adapted to the reality of each city.
